Trevor Freeman

FoolProof Spokesperson

Hi, my name is Trevor Freeman; I recently graduated from a high school in West-Vancouver, Canada. I am 18 years old now and I’m quickly learning what life is really like after high school.

After graduating, I went to a local college but quickly found that this situation was not working for me. I knew I didn’t want to go to school just yet, so I decided I would find a job and travel until I really knew what I wanted to study in a post secondary institution.

My passions involve surfing and traveling, and I always wanted to go abroad and see some of the world.

That’s when I got involved in CUHQ, which is giving me the chance to do both.

I was given the opportunity to work with CUHQ because of my stepfather. My stepfather is a pilot for a private jet that chartered frequently to the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.

While my stepfather was flying back and forth from the BVI to other countries and continents he met Will, one of the spokespersons for this website. Will and him became friends and kept in contact during his travels.

Two years ago my step dad and my mom got married on the BVI. During their wedding my step dad Keith introduced me to Will. Will and I immediately hit it off having the same great passion, surfing. After leaving the island two weeks later, Will and I kept in contact through e-mail.

So, after I told my step dad and mom my plan for the near future (working abroad in stead of college), they told me, “why don’t you get a hold of Will?”

Before I knew it I was on a plane and on my way to new adventures.

Right now we’re traveling through the States and speaking at high schools all around the country, teaching high schools students about the importance of financial responsibility.

Something I just learned myself recently!
