FoolProof Spokesperson
Hello out there!!
My name is Fabian Davis I am 23 years old; I was born and raised in Jamaica. But my family and I left the island in 1999. I was fourteen years old when we moved to Denmark where my big sister was living for some time. Yeah!!
At first Denmark was really cold, and I have to admit I still fight my battle with the cold winters.
I miss Jamaican seafood and jerk chicken so badly, and don’t even start me talking about missing friends and relatives back home.
But apart from the cold I love it here in Denmark. Living in Denmark is totally different compared to living in the Caribbean.
In Denmark, almost everything you eat, you have to go get at the supermarket. It was so weird for me to buy apples and bananas in a Danish store, while in Jamaica I would just go into my backyard and grab one or two straight from a tree.
One of the best things about Denmark was school, believe it or not. I know, that sounds crazy!
But get this:
In Danish schools I could wear anything I want and a school bus would actually come and pick me up from home!
In Jamaica I had to wear silly and warm school uniforms day in day out, and sometimes I had to walk miles to get to school!
But apart from walking miles to school I am still the luckiest man in the world oh Yes I am. You want to know why?
I AM MARRIED!!
Recently I got married to this beautiful woman her name is Alexia, and we have a wonderful daughter and second one on the way.
It’s such a big blessing for me to have them in my life. We are living in a small town which is called, Nykøbing.
Alexia And I are both studying at the moment. She is studying to become a midwife, and me myself I am studying to become a nurse. And when we graduate, we would love to go to third world countries, and try to make a difference in someone’s life.
We want to go work for non-profit organizations and help build shelters for homeless kids, to make sure they get good healthcare, and we want to help them learn how to take care of themselves.
We would for instance like to go to Jamaica, to Brazil, or maybe even some other place in the world. But reaching these goals is going to require us to save up a good bit of money,.
While trying to find ways to manage our money, we ran into the FoolProof program and got to know the guys behind FoolProof.
They really like our ideas of traveling and helping people at the same time, and asked us to help them develop their program and asked if they could feature our plans in FoolProof.
That’s when I became a FoolProof spokesperson.
I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted about my study progress, and later along the way, about our non-profit work in third world countries!
One love, Fabian.
